Modern science has discovered that there is a finer energy beyond the atom, which serves as the primary building block for all material things. And scientists are now recognizing that this energy looks more like a thought than a thing.

When we look at an object, we are essentially viewing or experiencing a physical representation of the core "thought" that gave it its existence. The object itself is seen, but its essence – its true beauty and magnetism – is FELT. My photography is motivated more by things felt than things seen.

I'm convinced that a photograph is capable of capturing that certain something that lies hidden within every physical form. This would explain why some beautiful pictures reach out and "grab" us, while others do not. If my images are able to accomplish that and earn a place in your home or in your memory, or perhaps inspire you to create beautiful photographs of your own, then I consider my efforts a success.
